Based on this, and having experienced event safety issues myself numerous times, it became clear to me that this could not continue. While working at my job as an event production manager I was almost constantly rethinking the topic of event safety, reshaping it, creating new standards. For safety, for a good feeling. It is quite obvious: We want to shape and make a lasting positive difference when it comes to event safety. For you and all who love togetherness as much as we do!
That is why we are actively and happily involved in relevant interest groups on a voluntary basis. So that together we can improve the standards of today and help shape those of tomorrow - for all of us.
For example, Sven Hansen from Event Safety Consult is currently the First Vice Chairman in the bvvs (German Federal Association for Event Safety) - the leading industry association. There he is responsible, among other things, for coordination with the other associations in the IGVW.
Nothing could be closer to his heart than to ensure that tomorrow’s “event safety guild” is equipped with a high sense of responsibility and true skill. Here, Sven Hansen provides support as a member of the advisory board, certifier and representative on the examination board for Masters of Event Safety at the German Inspection Body for Event Technology (DPVT).
